Nature trails in Scottsdale Arizona are known for their desert plant life, hills and rocks. The dry, hot weather is good for walking, but be sure to bring the proper gear with you. Always pack extra water, a compass, a map, a cell phone and a small first aid kit. Make sure you wear proper attire that keeps you cool and safe from the elements. Popular Nature Trails in Scottsdale

McCormick Railroad Park: This park has an eco friendly nature trail that highlights the low water plants every homeowner should have in Arizona. They have many shops and attractions for kids, including a carousel.

La Mirada Desert Park: La Mirada features 9 acres and includes a playground. Their botanical nature trail features desert plants.

McDowell Sonoran Preserve: For a mountain view that is hard to beat, try the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. They have several trails and maps, and you may even find a rare cactus or two.

Scottsdale Ranch Park: On 42 acres, Scottsdale Ranch Park also features a tennis club, racquetball and squash courts, basketball courts, baseball fields and a volleyball court as well as a playground, twelve station exercise area and nature trails.

I am so very glad I did!  The team in Glendale is so supportive and kind; and when I feel discouraged, they pick me up with positive energy and input.  They really do a great job with encouragement all the time.

6 weeks in I've lost 17 pounds, and am approaching weight loss with a very new perspective.  Also knowing that when I reach my target goal, they'll be there through maintenance and beyond is encouraging as well.  Good to not feel alone on this journey.
