Am I a Good Candidate for Wegovy?

Patients who are 12 years or older and are suffering from obesity can effectively lose weight using Wegovy. Adults with a BMI of at least 30 are good candidates. Patients with a BMI of at least 27 who are suffering from weight-related medical problems are also good candidates for Wegovy injections. Candidates should be fully committed to a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity while administering Wegovy.

Patients should not take Wegovy along with other GLP-1-containing products or GLP-1 medicines. Patients who are under 12 years old or have a history of pancreatitis may not be candidates for Wegovy injectable weight loss.

The Wegovy Weight Loss Process

Wegovy will be injected once per week. The dose will start relatively low and increase gradually, helping to minimize the occurrence of side effects.

You can continue normal activities after the Wegovy injection is administered. No recovery time will be required. Please follow our post-treatment care instructions carefully. 

Side effects, such as nausea, stomach pain, or heartburn, may occur.

You must follow the recommended diet plan and exercise routine. You will also undergo regular visits to assess the results of Wegovy. Depending on the doctor’s discretion, the dosage may be changed or even stopped.

Patients may experience weight loss starting four weeks into the process. Typically, Wegovy treatments result in patients losing around 18% of their body weight.
