Do you remember when you decided that this was IT!? This is the last time I will lose those 20 lbs., those 50 lbs., 100 lbs.! Do you remember when you made the commitment, you made the call to come in, you met with the doctor, you had your new weight loss plan put together, and you lost the weight! You were probably so confident in your ability to maintain your weight loss, right? I mean, you followed your plan, you went to class, you had accountability, you let the doctor put together a maintenance plan with you and this was going to be EASY!

The doctor probably told you the last time he/she saw you “If you get up 3-5 pounds, get back in and let me help you lose that weight before you spiral”…

So, now you’re wondering, what went wrong? Why didn’t I go back in at that point? Why did I let it spiral? Well, life probably got in your way! You probably thought, oh it’s just 5 pounds, then 10, then, you stopped weighing… Now here we are.

You may be feeling a myriad of things: Shame, guilt, frustration, sadness, hopelessness. These are all very normal feelings. As much as we tell you that you can do it and give you the tools, sometimes life happens. Sometimes we get busy and unfocused on our goals and sometimes we just don’t realize what we are doing until it’s too late… But, it’s NEVER too late!

I’m not sure if you noticed or not, but We (the Scottsdale Weight Loss Center Team) Believe In You! We believe in you before you believe in yourself… and even when you think it’s too late.

So, what do you do now? Well, it’s so easy… really. You pick up the phone or walk in any of our offices and tell them you need to get back in to see the doctor. We will never judge you, shame you, or make you feel guilty for something most, if not all, of us has been through. Our hope is that you WILL call us when you need us! We will schedule a visit for you to come in and meet with your doctor. He/She will spend time with you helping you figure out your plan of attack. He/She will want you to start weighing in regularly (remember how important accountability is?) and help get you motivated again.

Also, with SWLC, you are a lifetime patient… you can start and stop wherever you leave off! You do not have to start a whole program again and we have some new options for those of you who finished your Jumpstart© Program (or a 20 week program). We will be happy to help you decide the best route for you.

I decided GLP-1 meds were the next step in losing more and keeping it off.  I wanted a medical doctor supervised program and chose SWLC. I am so very glad I did!  The team in Glendale is so supportive and kind; and when I feel discouraged, they pick me up with positive energy and input.
