Fady’s Weight Loss Success Story
This decision is yours and no one can make it for you.
When I walked into Scottsdale Weight Loss Center (SWLC) I wasn’t expecting much. I knew I wanted to lose weight but I did not know how. I knew I wanted to be healthier but I had not really taken action to get there. I was tired of the physical and mental load I was putting on myself but I remained motionless. The choice to come to SWLC was not easy but on the first day, I made the decision that no matter what I was going to do this, no excuses.
This program is easy and hard at the same time. It is easy because you have people that truly care about your success supporting you along the way. It is hard because at the end of the day you own the decision. I think what sets this program apart from any other is the people working with you throughout your journey. From the doctor and medical assistants to the instructors and staff; everyone is invested in your success. There are classes you can take to help you along your journey and some of the things I learned in those classes really propelled me to work harder, create better routines, have plans, have back up plans, have backups for those backups, and to be more successful. There are a couple of things that I learned in class that have really stuck with me. The first is that this decision is yours and no one can make it for you; your spouse, parents, siblings, co-workers, and friends cannot do this for you, they can support you, but ultimately you own your success. The second is that this journey is not 20 weeks or 6 months, or 2 years. This journey is forever. At the end of the day, you are making the decision to be healthy for life and you can’t put a time stamp on when you are going to stop. The only thing you can do is try to get better every day. You will have good days, bad days, and a bunch of other days in between but as long as you improve on the next bite, next meal, next day; you will be successful.
I am extremely happy with my results because I did not just lose a bunch of weight; I gained confidence, knowledge, a new support system, and a bunch of new clothes. Also I hope you like compliments because you get a lot of them along the way from family, friends, co-workers, and really just about anyone who has not seen you in a few weeks. I could not be happier with the decision I made to come to SWLC and jumpstart my path to better health and I encourage anyone who is on the fence to go for it.
