The thing about change is that in time, what is new becomes normal and routine. This means that the changes you are worried about today will be the normalcy that you cling to in the future. Just imagine: today you are worried about making changes to your exercise routine, but if you really commit to those changes and make it happen, then a year from now it will be what you know.

- Give your muscles time to recover in between big workouts. If you go running for the first time and you are sore afterwards, then go walking the next day and do some light stretching, and take a day off before running again.
